ART FOCUS Interview on KBOO Community Radio

On Tuesday, February 1st KBOO Community Radio features an interview with visionary painter Noel Taylor on ART FOCUS.

ART FOCUS host Joseph Gallivan conducts interviews on Arts and Culture with artists, curators and art critics.

The interview airs at 11:30 am pacific time on 90.7 FM in Portland, Oregon. It will also be streamed on the KBOO website at: https://kboo.fm/program/art-focus and available as a Podcast.

The interview focuses on four of Noel’s paintings Aria, Trax, Alegria, and a new painting he just finished that has not yet been varnished or named.

The discussion includes Noel’s use of miscue technique to make oil paintings that feel backlit, how his abstract forms come to him in a meditative state, and how his art allows him to access a universal subconscious as described by Joseph Campbell.

Journey into "Inception Cave"

Here's a video entering into my painting "Inception Cave".  This video was created for me by my good friend Kevin Promethius Trotsky of Psyght, The Abstract Mind and Octa.  Inception Cave was inspired by a journey deep within a cave in Colorado.
